Compensation: PKR 50,000 to 60,000 per month

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, bank and ledger reconciliations, and statutory tax filings across our group entities. The ideal candidate is punctual, disciplined, and comfortable working with ERP systems and MS Office.

Key responsibilities

  • Reconcile bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
  • Prepare cheques and cash payments as authorized by the Manager
  • Manage income and expenditure accounts, ensure accurate posting and documentation
  • Prepare and file statutory returns on FBR IRIS, SRB, PRA, and KPRA
  • Upload invoices and submit returns on the respective portals
  • Prepare income tax and sales tax working papers and payment challans
  • Maintain and operate the company's accounting and financial software
  • Prepare cash expense statements and maintain supporting documents
  • Visit banks as needed for deposits, instruments, and account services
  • Perform any other accounting or admin tasks assigned by the Manager

Qualifications

  • B.Com with 4 to 5 years of accounting experience

or

  • Part-qualified ACMA or ACCA with 1 to 2 years of accounting experience

Skills and preferences

  • Hands-on experience with MS Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, preference for candidates with ERPNext exposure
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Sound understanding of Pakistani taxation processes and portals
  • Good communication and time management
