We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer with expertise in Kotlin and Android development to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain high-quality, responsive, and performant mobile applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

-Design and develop sophisticated mobile applications using Kotlin for Android platforms

-Work closely with hardware for software integration

-Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces that adhere to Material Design principles

-Work with RESTful APIs and integrate backend services

-Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability

-Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

-Implement automated testing strategies and perform code reviews

-Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers

-Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the team

-Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in Android development

Required Qualifications

-5+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin-Strong understanding of Android architecture components (MVVM / MVI, View Model, Live Data, Room)

-Experience with modern Android UI frameworks (Jetpack Compose Desirable)

-Proficiency in consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON-Experience with dependency injection frameworks like Dagger or Koin

-Knowledge of design patterns and software architecture principles

-Solid understanding of Git version control-Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management

-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

-Ability to work with Dagger / Hilt preferred, Koin experience is a plus.

-Can work on hardware/software integrations and able to utilize SDKs

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering
