We are a U.S.-based company seeking a talented Mid-Level Developer to join our fully remote team.

This is a primarily backend-focused position where you'll be responsible for designing and delivering a complete set of API endpoints from the ground up, supported by thorough documentation. Experience with APIs will be a strong advantage for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement a reliable, scalable suite of API endpoints from scratch, with a focus on performance, security, and usability.
  • Collaborate closely with the team lead to ensure a seamless and developer-friendly integration experience.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Establish and follow best practices, frameworks, and processes to accelerate development.
  • Troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and support the platform through data-driven analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in PHP, particularly with CodeIgniter or similar frameworks, and solid knowledge of Core PHP.
  • Proven experience in API development (experience in API is an added plus).
  • Familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server (T-SQL) databases.
  • Proficiency in front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality code.
