Job description
Responsibilities:
- Digitize built-up area boundaries from satellite imagery with high accuracy.
- Maintain topological integrity of data (no overlaps or gaps between parcels).
- Follow strict boundary guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency with field and ownership data.
- Attribute each polygon with relevant land use information, village name, and other required fields.
- Validate and correct geometry and attribute issues according to QC/QA standards.
- Collaborate with survey and GIS analysis teams for continuous improvement of data quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Space Science, Geography, or related field.
- Proficiency in QGIS or ArcGIS with experience in digitizing complex features.
- Experience in handling and managing spatial databases and layers
