JOb Purpose
The incumbent will be responsible for performing laboratory related procedures and supporting the activities with accuracy and attention to details, ensuring compliance with quality and biosafety standards that contribute to effective program implementation and study objectives.

Responsibilities
Complete training on all assigned activities, procedures, and SOPs.

Actively coordinate and support laboratory activities, ensuring smooth workflow, adherence to timelines, and

effective communication among team members.

Ensure accurate, timely, and quality testing of samples in compliance with approved protocols, SOPs, and

good laboratory practices.

Maintain complete, accurate, and traceable laboratory documentation and records.

Ensure proper storage, labelling, tracking, transportation, and shipment of samples in accordance with study

and biosafety requirements.

Manage the inventory of supplies, reagents, and equipment at the site, ensuring availability and functionality.

Participate in meetings, trainings, and collaborative activities that promote coordination, problem-solving,

and continuous improvement.

Support planning, implementation, and monitoring of project-related activities as required.

Assist in the resolution of laboratory-related queries and contribute to progress reporting.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager to support overall study and program objectives.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (ksa)
Required Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.

Required Experience

  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a clinical microbiology laboratory.

Required Skills

  • Follow SOP and learn new tests introduced in laboratory.
  • Manage quality work in stressful situations.
  • Effectively assist senior and management staff.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and support study coordination.
