Lab technologist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests (hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, serology, etc.) according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare, process, and analyze specimens with accuracy and efficiency.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Ensure quality control procedures are followed to maintain accuracy and reliability of results.
• Record, interpret, and verify test results before reporting.
• Follow health, safety, and infection control protocols at all times.
• Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining laboratory SOPs.
• Support in inventory management of lab reagents, supplies, and consumables.
• Collaborate with pathologists and healthcare professionals for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or equivalent qualification.
• Valid registration with [Pakistan Medical Commission / Health Professional Council if required].
• Proven experience in a diagnostic or hospital laboratory (fresh graduates with internship may also apply).
• Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, instruments, and safety standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs30, Rs50,000.00 per month
