About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Oracle Developer to join our IT team in the education sector.

The successful candidate will support, maintain, and enhance Oracle-based applications used by various university departments.

This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career developers to gain hands-on experience in Oracle Database development, PL/SQL programming, and ERP systems within an enterprise-level environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
  • Assist in designing and implementing database structures and data models.
  • Support existing Oracle-based ERP or University Management Systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver efficient solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application or database issues.
  • Participate in testing, documentation, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure data integrity, backup, and security protocols are followed.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of Oracle Database 12c/19c.
  • Experience with PL/SQL, SQL Developer, and optionally Forms/Reports.
  • Basic knowledge of database design, normalization, and stored procedures.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Understanding of ERP systems or education management software is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
