Job Responsibilities

• Monitor raw material, spare parts, and store inventory levels; generate purchase requisitions as required.
• Oversee goods receiving procedures, including preparation of credits and Goods Receiving Notes (GRNs) for imported material.
• Report slow-moving and dead stock to management and develop utilization plans to minimize blocked capital.
• Coordinate with production department heads to identify short material requirements for current and upcoming production orders; communicate and follow up with the purchase department until materials are delivered.
• Manage and reconcile physical vs. system-based stock records to ensure accurate inventory reporting.
• Maintain optimum raw material stock levels while ensuring timely availability of all required materials to production.
• Coordinate with production to address urgent material requirements and keep purchase department informed.
• Continuously liaise with the purchase department to ensure timely procurement of raw materials in line with stock reorder levels.
