Trainee Accountant

We are looking for a Trainee Accountant to work remotely and assist in managing our financial records, preparing accounts, and performing other accounting tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or early in their accounting career to gain experience and develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

2. Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

3. Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.

4. Assist in budgeting and forecasting, providing insights to support business decisions.

5. Perform other accounting tasks as required, including data entry, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Requirements:

• Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Or Google Docs and Sheets.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills. Should be able to speak basic English

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
