Genset Technician

Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Genset Technician to perform major overhauling, maintenance, and repairs on gensets. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform Major Overhauling:

Conduct major overhauls on diesel generators, including engine, alternator, and control system repairs.

1. Routine Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.

1. Troubleshoot and Repair:

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with diesel generators.

1. Diagnose Problems:

Diagnose problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.

1. Preventive Maintenance:

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

1. Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Requirements:

1. Experience:

3-5 years of experience working on diesel generators, with a focus on major overhauling and maintenance.

1. Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of diesel engines, electrical systems, and control systems.

1. Physical Ability:

Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.

1. Communication:

Good communication skills to interact with colleagues, supervisors, and customers.

1. Electrical and Electronic Systems:

Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including circuit analysis and troubleshooting.

1. Problem-Solving:

Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair complex issues.

Location: Balochistan & Thar Site

Salary: Negotiable based on expertise and experience

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Rs60, Rs70,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
