Job Summary
:

Walqalum is seeking a highly motivated and creative
Graphic Designer
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mix of video editing proficiency, graphic design expertise, and familiarity with
AI-powered tools
to produce engaging, high-quality visual content for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Production & Editing:

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, compelling videos for social media (Reels, Shorts, TikToks, etc.), marketing, and internal use.
  • Use
    AI-powered video tools (Veo3, Sora, and other content generation platforms)
    to enhance creativity and speed in video production.

Motion Graphics & Animation:

  • Create basic animation, 2D motion graphics, and transitions to elevate storytelling and engagement.

Graphic Design:

  • Design engaging visuals, social media posts, marketing materials, presentations, and website elements.
  • Develop brand-aligned visual concepts for campaigns and promotions, especially for
    e-commerce
    .

Content Strategy & Brand Management:

  • Support the creation of consistent visual identities across all digital platforms, including
    LinkedIn
    , Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Collaborate on visual storytelling strategies to enhance brand visibility and recognition.

Pre- and post-production:

  • Capture original photography or short video clips when required, ensuring high-quality visuals.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, product, and content teams to execute cohesive creative strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience:
    2–3 years of hands-on experience in video editing and graphic design.
  • Video Software:
    Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and experience with AI-based tools such as
    Veo 3
    ,
    Sora
    , and
    video content generation platforms
    .
  • Graphic Tools:
    Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or equivalent design software.
  • Design & UX/UI:
    Understanding of design systems, visual hierarchy, typography, and user-centric design.
  • Trend Awareness:
    Familiarity with emerging social media formats and tools for short-form video optimization.
  • Soft Skills:
    Creativity, strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
