Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a
Search Engine Optimization Manager
based in
Lahore
. The SEO Manager will be responsible for conducting
SEO audits
,
performing keyword research
, and
implementing effective link-building strategies
.
The candidate will manage SEO teams, collaborate with marketing and development, track KPI performance, and continuously refine strategies based on search engine trends. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver measurable improvements in rankings and organic traffic.

Core Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and lead the company-wide SEO strategy to increase organic traffic, rankings, and conversions
  • Create monthly SEO roadmaps, growth plans, and KPI targets
  • Monitor Google algorithm updates and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with leadership for long-term organic growth planning

Team Management

  • Lead and manage a team of SEO specialists, content writers, link builders & analysts
  • Assign tasks, review performance, and ensure timely project delivery
  • Provide training, guidance & best practices to improve team output
  • Coordinate with developers, designers, and marketing teams for implementation

On-Page & Content Optimization

  • Build keyword clusters, content plans, and optimization strategies
  • Ensure all pages are optimized for user intent, E-E-A-T, and SEO best practices
  • Conduct content audits, fix content decay, and update underperforming pages
  • Collaborate with the content team on briefs, guidelines, and new content topics

Technical SEO

  • Perform technical audits (crawl, indexing, CWV, page speed, structure)
  • Work closely with developers to resolve issues
  • Implement schema markup, canonicalization, sitemaps, & site architecture fixes

Off-Page & Authority Building

  • Manage link-building strategies, outreach campaigns & digital PR
  • Monitor backlink health and disavow toxic links
  • Build relationships with publishers, bloggers, and industry partners

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track rankings, traffic, conversions, and SEO KPIs
  • Create monthly & quarterly performance reports
  • Analyze user behavior, CTR, impressions & competitor insights
  • Use GA4, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio dashboards

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of proven SEO experience
  • Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
  • Experience managing SEO teams or specialists
  • Deep understanding of Google ranking factors and algorithm updates
  • Proficiency with SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, GA4, GSC, Screaming Frog, Surfer, etc.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress

Other Preferred Skills

  • Experience with e-commerce SEO
  • Familiarity with AI-based content optimization tools
  • Ability to build dashboards in Looker Studio
  • Experience with multilingual or multi-region SEO
