Python Django Developer

Title: Python/Django Developer (3+ years) — Deployments, CI/CD, Team Lead

Location: Hybrid/Onsite

Type: Full-time

About the role

We're looking for a Python/Django developer to build web apps and APIs, own server handling and deployments, streamline CI/CD, troubleshoot production issues, and lead a small team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Django apps and REST APIs
• Own deployments and environments (Linux, Docker, Nginx/Gunicorn)
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI)
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems
• Work with PostgreSQL/MySQL and caching (Redis)
• Lead/mentor a small team and coordinate delivery with stakeholders

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with Python and Django (DRF a plus)
• Strong programming fundamentals (OOP, testing, Git)
• Hands-on Linux server and basic cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Proven CI/CD and automated deployment experience
• Solid troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
• Experience as a team lead or project lead
• Good communication skills (clear written and verbal; able to collaborate with stakeholders and lead standups/reviews)

Nice to have

• Celery or background jobs
• Basic IaC or scripting (Terraform/Ansible/Bash)
