We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist (NH) to join our medical billing team. The AR Specialist will be responsible for managing accounts receivable functions, including billing, collections, and resolving outstanding claims.
- Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies, government agencies, and other third-party payers.
- Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues and inquiries.
- Investigate and resolve claim denials, rejections, and discrepancies promptly and work on Appeal Management.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as coding and revenue cycle. management, to streamline billing processes and improve collections efficiency.
- Must know healthcare regulations, insurance policies, and billing procedures.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances to ensure timely payment.
- Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurance.
Required Competencies:
- Nursing Homes plus point.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
