Job Title: Sales Consultant – Solar Solutions

Department: Fincera Energy Division

Location: Lahore (with field visits as required)

Job Summary:

The Sales Consultant – Solar Solutions will be responsible for promoting and selling solar energy systems to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The role involves identifying customer needs, conducting site assessments, preparing customized proposals, and providing technical and financial consultations to help clients adopt sustainable energy solutions. The consultant will ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication, accurate solution design coordination, and after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Engagement & Lead Management

  • Generate and qualify leads through field visits, referrals, digital channels, and networking.
  • Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their energy requirements, site conditions, and budget preferences.
  • Schedule and conduct detailed client meetings and presentations on solar solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business partnerships.

2. Technical & Financial Consultation

  • Coordinate with the technical and design teams for load assessments, feasibility studies, and solution proposals.
  • Present system configurations, energy yield projections, and return on investment (ROI) analyses to clients.
  • Clearly explain product features, warranties, system performance, and financing or net-metering options.
  • Customize proposals according to client requirements and site conditions.

3. Sales Process Management

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure and post-installation follow-up.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize contracts in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain updated sales records, client communications, and deal status in the CRM system.
  • Follow up with potential clients to ensure timely conversions and high closure rates.

4. Coordination & Project Handover

  • Liaise with the engineering, design, and installation teams to ensure smooth execution of confirmed projects.
  • Communicate client expectations clearly to operations and ensure timely delivery and installation.
  • Track project progress and keep clients updated throughout the installation process.

5. Market Awareness & Strategy

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and industry updates in renewable energy.
  • Identify potential market segments and recommend strategies for business growth.
  • Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and marketing campaigns to promote solar products and services.

6. Customer Support & After-Sales Service

  • Conduct follow-ups post-installation to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer queries or complaints promptly with coordination from technical support teams.
  • Encourage satisfied clients to provide testimonials or referrals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or Engineering related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in solar sales, renewable energy, or technical solution-based sales.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
