Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled SQA Engineer
with 2+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, test planning, and automation/manual testing. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with development teams to ensure high-quality product releases.

Key Responsibilities:

Manual & Automation Testing

  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
  • Identify, report, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

Quality Processes

  • Develop detailed test plans, test strategies, and test scenarios.
  • Ensure product quality by reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).

Collaboration

  • Work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Provide clear and concise reports on testing activities and results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure feature completeness and readiness.

Tools & Technologies

  • Use automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar (preferred).
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software QA (manual + optional automation).
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of writing clear test cases and test documentation.
  • Experience with testing REST APIs.
  • Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automation frameworks/tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter, k6) is a plus.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
