Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Shopify & WordPress Developer located in Karāchi. The developer will be responsible for both front-end and back-end web development, creating responsive web designs, and optimizing existing websites. Day-to-day tasks include designing, coding, and modifying websites from layout to function, integrating data from various back-end services and databases, and collaborating with other team members to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, schema, and metafields.

Implement custom features and functionalities within Shopify.

Ensure responsive, optimized, and scalable front-end performance.

Work with WordPress to create and customize:

Custom plugins

Custom hooks & elements (including Elementor extensions)

Collaborate with designers and backend team to bring Figma/Adobe XD/Sketch designs to life.

Debug, maintain, and improve existing Shopify & WordPress projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2–3 years of professional experience in web development.

Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid (must-have).

Hands-on experience with Shopify schema, custom liquid sections, and apps.

Experience with WordPress custom hooks, plugin development, and custom Elementor widgets.

Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.

Ability to integrate APIs and third-party services.

Knowledge of Laravel is a plus (not mandatory).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Nice to Have:

Experience in performance optimization for Shopify & WordPress sites.

Familiarity with e-commerce best practices and SEO fundamentals.
