Job Description

· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

· Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger entries.

· Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.

· Handle basic bookkeeping tasks using cloud-based accounting software (training provided).

· Prepare and submit simple VAT returns and assist with other compliance tasks.

· Help with payroll processing for client businesses.

· Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

· Communicate effectively with team members and managers.

About Requirements

· A minimum of an Intermediate/A-Levels qualification; a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a strong plus.

· 6 months to 2 years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or audit role. Fresh graduates with relevant coursework/internships are also encouraged to apply.

· Solid basic accounting knowledge (understanding of debits/credits, P&L, balance sheets, etc.).

· Familiarity with any accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or local solutions like Zoho Books) is highly desirable.

· Strong proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs are a bonus).

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

· Reliable internet connection and a dedicated quiet workspace at home.

· A proactive, self-motivated, and eager-to-learn attitude.

Salary

PKR 70,000 per month depending on experience

Equipment Required

To carry out this job you would need a good quality laptop with access to steady internet connection, a web cam and a headset. You will be mostly working in the background with less interaction with clients.
