What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain applications using Laravel and AWS
  • Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
  • Build and integrate APIs and third-party services
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and testing
  • Collaborate with team members on code reviews and technical discussions
  • Manage and optimise databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Support generating queries
  • Follow secure coding practices and compliance standards

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of experience with Laravel/PHP
  • SaaS application experience
  • Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker and containerised applications
  • Agile mindset
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in Agile teams
  • Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Horizon, Datadog, New Relic)
  • Previous experience in SaaS, FinTech or other high-growth environments

Bonus experience

  • Integration Development:
    Create robust integrations tailored to different eCommerce stores and ERP systems, utilising a variety of APIs and exploring how AI can streamline integration processes
  • Application Development:
    Write quality, maintainable and scalable code and continue the development of our software application
  • Issue Refinement:
    Collaborate with the team to refine and prioritise new GitHub issues, ensuring that they align with project goals and integrate them into upcoming sprints
  • Agile mentality:
    working with different agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/XP), Familiarity
    with CI/CD technologies and processes
  • Building
    out
    new
    features
    : visualisations, workflows, APIs and more. The tech stack includes Laravel, JavaScript and SQL, hosted on AWS.
