Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chartered Accountant with experience in the petroleum industry; located in Lahore. The Chartered Accountant will oversee financial reporting, analysing IFEM mechanics, budgeting, and tax compliance. The role involves managing audits, analyzing financial data, preparing accurate reports, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing financial advice to support the company's strategic goals. The professional will ensure financial accuracy and optimize cost efficiency in various projects and operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in accounting standards, financial reporting, and budget management.
  • Experienced in tax compliance, auditing processes, and regulatory adherence.
  • Proficiency in financial data analysis, report preparation, and developing cost-efficient strategies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software tools and advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a professional Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience in a petroleum or related industry is an advantage.
