Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced Video Editor & Clipper (3–5 years) skilled with CapCut, Veo, Opus Clips, and AI-assisted video workflows. In this role, you'll edit, clip, and repurpose long-form video content into engaging short-form videos optimized for social platforms, ensuring our brand's institutional tone and visual style remain consistent and high-impact.

You will focus on turning webinars, strategy calls, and interviews into short clips that resonate with founders, high-net-worth audiences, and digital-asset investors.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Clipping:

• Edit long-form content (webinars, interviews, strategy calls) using CapCut, Veo, Opus Clips, or similar tools.
• Clip and repurpose videos into short-form social content (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Add subtitles, on-screen text overlays, motion graphics, transitions, and sound design consistent with brand guidelines.
• Maintain visual consistency, including pacing, color grading, story structure, and platform-specific best practices.

AI Video & Workflow Optimization:

• Leverage AI-video tools (automatic clipping, auto-captioning, text-to-video, auto-reformatting) to scale output efficiently.
• Stay updated on Opus Clips and emerging AI-video tools to improve workflow and productivity.
• Develop templates and automation processes to streamline clipping and editing workflows.

Social Video Strategy & Analytics:

• Collaborate with marketing, investment, and content teams to align clips with strategic themes (alternative investments, digital assets, macro trends).
• Track performance metrics (views, engagement, shares, watch time) and optimize clip strategy accordingly.
• Assist with caption writing, hashtag strategies, and platform-specific formatting to maximize reach.

Asset Management:

• Organize video assets, project files, templates, and archives for easy retrieval and reuse.
• Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and industry regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in video editing and clipping for social media.
• Proficient in CapCut and experienced with Veo, Opus Clips, or similar AI-assisted video tools.
• Strong understanding of social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X/Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Excellent storytelling, visual editing, pacing, and text overlay skills.
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines.
• Portfolio/reel demonstrating video editing and social video clipping expertise.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in finance, wealth management, digital assets/crypto, or high-net-worth content.
• Familiarity with analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, YouTube Analytics, TikTok Analytics).
• Basic graphic design or thumbnail creation skills (Canva, Photoshop).
• Knowledge of SEO, hooks, hashtags, and short-form video growth tactics.
