Job Description:

As a Creative Video Editor at Adlance, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the creative direction and visual storytelling of our projects. You will collaborate closely with the creative team, producers, and clients to create high-quality videos that effectively communicate the brand's message. Your role will involve editing, color correction, sound design, and working on various video formats, including social media content, music videos, corporate videos, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality video content that meets the creative brief and exceeds client expectations.
  • Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and other team members to ensure the visual and narrative elements align with the project's goals.
  • Manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Work on sound design, color correction, and final video outputs.
  • Create and implement motion graphics and visual effects when required.
  • Stay up-to-date with current video trends, software, and best practices to ensure our work remains innovative and engaging.
  • Maintain organized files, assets, and project timelines throughout the editing process.
  • Collaborate with the team on creative direction and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new video concepts.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of work (please include a link to your portfolio or showreel).
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of post-production workflows, including color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software like After Effects for motion graphics and visual effects.
  • A keen eye for detail, composition, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for storytelling through video and an ability to think creatively to solve visual challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a 
    Video Editor
     with a strong portfolio or showreel.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as 
    Adobe Premiere Pro
    , 
    Final Cut Pro
    , and 
    DaVinci Resolve
    .
  • Familiarity with 
    motion graphics
     and 
    visual effects
     using 
    Adobe After Effects
    .
  • Strong knowledge of 
    color grading
     and 
    sound design
    .
  • A keen eye for 
    visual storytelling
    , composition, and pacing.
  • Experience with 
    social media
     and 
    digital video formats
     (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
  • Strong 
    communication skills
     and ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to handle 
    tight deadlines
     and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
