Role Overview

AI4LYF is offering a consultancy opportunity
for doctors, senior medical students, or researchers
affiliated with pulmonology departments in medical facilities providing screening and management services for chronic respiratory conditions
(Asthma, COPD, Tuberculosis, Lung Cancer). As a consultant, you will work as the principal researcher from the facility side and facilitate
ethical approvals, supervise data collection campaigns, and oversee clinical trials
for our AI health solutions addressing
chronic respiratory conditions
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ethical & Regulatory Oversight:
    Liaise and supervise the ethical approval process from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and ensure adherence to hospital and research standards.
  • Hospital Collaboration:
    Facilitate onboarding and coordination with the department/hospital treating tuberculosis patients.
  • Data Collection Supervision:
    Guide and oversee assistants conducting hospital-based data collection campaigns.
  • Domain Knowledge Contribution:
    Provide pulmonology domain expertise for protocol design, validating data, enriching annotation and reviewing research outcomes.
  • Coordination & Advisory Support:
    Act as a clinical bridge between hospitals, research teams, and AI4LYF..

Qualifications

  • MBBS with specialization in
    Pulmonology
    OR currently enrolled in the
    final year of a Pulmonology specialisation program
    at a recognised institution
  • Affiliation with a
    recognised Pulmonology Department
    (teaching hospital or equivalent)
  • Additional certifications or research experience in
    tuberculosis management
    will be an advantage

Requirements

  • Experience in managing or treating
    tuberculosis patients
    .
  • Familiarity with
    ethical approval processes
    and hospital research compliance.
  • Strong networking, coordination and communication skills to make the ethical approval, data collection and clinical trial seamless.
  • Ability to contribute
    clinical domain expertise
    for AI-driven research.
  • Comfortable with part-time, flexible, remote collaboration.
