About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Shopify Website & Backend Coordinator to manage the technical and operational aspects of our Shopify store. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth functioning of the website, updating product listings, managing content, troubleshooting backend issues, and continuously optimizing the online storefront to enhance the user experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and manage the Shopify website backend

* Regularly update and publish new product listings with accurate descriptions, pricing, and images

* Handle collections, tags, filters, inventory levels, and variant configurations

* Ensure website speed, navigation, and mobile responsiveness are optimized

* Coordinate with the design team to update banners, homepage layouts, and promotional visuals

* Troubleshoot bugs, broken links, and integration issues (e.g., payment gateway, courier sync, apps)

* Oversee implementation and management of Shopify apps and plugins

* Collaborate with marketing and customer support teams for campaign setup and feature launches

* Ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all product listings and pages

* Monitor site performance, UTM tracking, and basic analytics for operational improvements

Requirements

* 2+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify backend (including Shopify 2.0 and customizations)

* Strong understanding of Shopify product management, collections, tags, SEO settings, and theme customizations

* Ability to handle technical troubleshooting and liaise with developers (if needed)

* Familiarity with basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Figma) for content updates is a plus

* Knowledge of Shopify apps, third-party integrations, and courier tracking plugins

* Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus

* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accountability
