MEP BIM Modeler

Job Description

As a MEP BIM Modeler, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing your expertise to develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models focused on MEP systems. Working closely with engineers and project stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring that our projects align with industry standards and client requirements. Your proficiency in BIM software, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills will be crucial in creating efficient and clash-free mechanical models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain precise 3D BIM models for Mechanical & Plumbing systems based on project specifications.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers to incorporate design changes and optimize system efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve clashes within the Mechanical & Plumbing and coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, architecture and structure) to address interdisciplinary clashes.
  • Utilize BIM software to generate detailed drawings, documents, and schedules related to mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that BIM models adhere to established standards and project requirements.
  • Assist in the creation of presentations and visualizations to effectively communicate mechanical system designs.

Qualifications:

  • BSc Engineering Mechanical or Relevant Diploma.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in BIM modelling, with a focus on MEP systems.
  • Proficient in BIM software, such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, or similar tools, with a specific emphasis on mechanical system modelling.
  • Immediate Available to join full time/part time.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific standards and protocols related to mechanical engineering and BIM.
  • Experience in identifying and resolving clashes within mechanical models and coordinating with other disciplines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in the creation and maintenance of BIM models.
