About the Role

We're looking for a passionate and skilled Freelance Android Developer who can join immediately to support our ongoing and upcoming mobile app projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Kotlin, along with a solid understanding of mobile app architecture, performance optimization, and modern Android development practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
  • Collaborate with backend teams and designers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Integrate APIs and third-party libraries efficiently.
  • Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and security of mobile applications.
  • Debug, test, and maintain code for reliability and scalability.
  • Work in an agile environment and deliver milestones on time.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of proven experience in Android app development.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, and Android SDK.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile UI/UX design principles.
  • Experience with version control (Git).
  • Familiarity with Firebase, Push Notifications, and Play Store deployment process.
  • Knowledge of MVVM/MVP architectures and Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, etc.).
  • Experience in debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Exposure to iOS development* or cross-platform frameworks.
  • Understanding of App Store/Play Store guidelines.
