We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps engineer that will help our team establish DevOps practice. You will work closely with the CTO/ technical leads to identify and establish DevOps practices in the company. You will help us build scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure. You'll implement monitoring for automated system health checks. Lastly, you'll build our CI pipeline, and train and guide the team in DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting.
  • Independently build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Build and maintain highly available production systems.
  • Guide teams in designing, building, testing, and deploying changes to existing software, with an emphasis on containerization and orchestration of microservices.
  • Enhance the company's IT infrastructure security protocols
  • Identify manual processes that can be automated
  • Consider the organization's entire IT infrastructure when making changes and improvements
  • Maintain and improve the company's cloud infrastructure
  • Implement and own the CI/CD pipelines
  • Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to ensure system health.

Required Skills

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • 3 to 4 Year of proven experience in DevOps engineering
  • Strong knowledge Azure cloud infrastructure and services
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Configuration and managing databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, Mongo
  • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
  • Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and implementation in a cloud environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
