Job Description

About the Role

We're looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Cost Reporting & Analytics Assistant Manager to support the Performance Team within IP&I Finance via LTC's service provision model. This role is key in delivering actionable insights that drive cost efficiency, performance improvement, and strategic decision-making across IP&I.

You'll support the development of reporting frameworks, cost performance analysis, and quarterly forecasting cycles. Working closely with IP&I's Performance team, the wider IP&I Finance team, and IP&I's Operational teams, you'll ensure cost & resource data is transformed into meaningful insight that supports IP&I's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of cost management reporting and performance insight aligned to strategic and budgetary goals.

• Maintain reporting and dashboards to track KPIs, financial forecasts, and operational metrics.

• Monitor and report on key results for resourcing, costs, and finance dashboards.

• Analyse performance trends to identify risks and opportunities, supporting informed decision-making.

• Support the maintenance of the Strategic Workforce Plann by aligning resource insights with long-term business needs.

• Collaborate with Business Leads, Finance Partners, and Commercial Managers to support quarterly forecasting and planning.

• Continuously improve reporting processes and tools to enhance efficiency and value.

• Deliver ad hoc analysis, business cases, and presentations for senior leadership.

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, in the office. Although the role will generally work to IST, the nature of the services provided to IP&I means that the successful candidate may be required to work outside of IST on occasion.

What We're Looking For

• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and distil insights.

• Some experience in data visualisation and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel).

• Self-motivated; proactively identify issues and opportunities

• Confident, engaging and enjoy working with a variety of different stakeholders.

• Ability to understand data and insight.

Desirable Attributes

• Experience in cost optimisation, financial planning and analysis or resource management.

• Familiarity with agile delivery environments and cross-functional teams.

• A background in customer experience, digital platforms, or financial services is advantageous.
