About the Role:

As an
Accounting Associate (US Tax)
, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health, tax compliance, and reporting accuracy of our clients. You will be responsible for executing various accounting tasks, with a strong focus on
US taxation
, including tax preparation, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the success of diverse businesses, collaborate with a dynamic team, and grow in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

  • US Tax Preparation & Compliance
    – Prepare and file US federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations and deadlines.
  • Tax Research & Advisory
    – Stay current with US tax laws, assist with tax planning, and provide compliance recommendations.
  • Bookkeeping & Record Maintenance
    – Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate ledgers.
  • Bank Reconciliation
    – Reconcile bank statements and financial data while identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Compliance & Process Improvements
    – Ensure accounting and tax compliance while identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualification: A 4-Year Bachelor's degree is preferable, ideally in Accounting & Finance.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in US taxation (individual and/or business tax).
  • Prior knowledge/experience of QuickBooks.
  • Strong understanding of Debit/Credit (double entries).
  • Prior experience in an Accounting or Tax Firm.
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through academics or extra-curricular activities.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Work Timings:

This is a
Full-time role
with US Hours' Shift. Specific hours will be determined based on business needs.
