Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, including ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for accurate and timely tax return filing in compliance with statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Record journal entries and maintain supporting documentation for all financial transactions.
  • Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure accurate and timely tax return filing (sales tax, income tax, withholding tax, etc.) and maintain relevant compliance records.
  • Support year-end audits by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
  • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, ensuring financial accuracy and transparency.
  • Stay updated with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's / Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, CMA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliation processes, and tax regulations.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration across departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50, Rs60,000.00 per month
