Job Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for providing on time maintenance and support to the OSD Packing equipment by maintaining un-interrupted manufacturing activities by keeping minimum possible down time with less spare consumption on equipment and up keeping the plant in conformity with cGMP.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance plan to enhance equipment lifespan.
  • Leverage automation and modern technologies to enhance productivity.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Perform route cause analysis to uncover the underlying cause of issue.
  • Responsible for Workforce Development, Cross-Department Coordination, and Team Management
  • Equipment Reliability – Monitor machinery and equipment to reduce downtime and increase operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving – Identify and resolve mechanical or technical issues quickly.
  • Compliance & Safety – Ensure maintenance operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Inventory & Spare Parts Management – Maintain stock of necessary spare parts to avoid delays in repairs.
  • Vendor Coordination – Liaise with external vendors for outsourced repairs and procurement of equipment spare parts.
  • Reporting & Documentation – Maintain records of maintenance schedules, equipment breakdowns, and completed work.

Key Requirements

  • A minimum qualification of B.E Mechanical
  • A relevant experience of minimum 5 to 10 years
  • Knowledge about pharma machines maintenance of OSD & MDI area machines their maintenance.
  • Documenting maintenance activities, breakdown reports and improvement plan.
  • Experience with SAP PM and other maintenance management tools, proficiency in Excel, Word & Power Point for reporting and presentation.
