Software Test Engineer

As a Software Test Engineer at PakWheels, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of products by collaborating closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams throughout the product life cycle. You will translate product requirements into detailed test plans, conduct rigorous testing, and analyze market data to enhance user experience. Additionally, you will play a key role in QA processes, ensuring seamless product releases while maintaining PakWheels' competitive edge in the market.
Responsibilities:
Write/update automated test scripts for new and current functionalities.Help define acceptance criteria and validate new work meets the requirementsWork with Product and Development team to resolve bugs as they are discoveredProactively identify opportunities and take initiativeDevelop and maintain the test cases of new and old features as per requirements.Understand and effectively participate in the core processes of the team.Be an active participant in our agile processQualifications:
Have 1-3 years of experience in software test engineer roleA Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering/Information Technology/Computer ScienceA thorough understanding of oop, data structures, algorithms, and operating systemsMust have hands-on experience in at least one programming language (C++, Java, Python, or any other)Strong concepts of Black Box TestingUnderstanding of Agile/Scrum Development ProcessMust have experience with testing tools (e.g., Appium, Cypress, Selenium)Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins will be a plusMust have expertise in API Testing using post man Be familiar with agile development and scrum conceptsExperience with JIRAHands on experience on UI testingBasic SQL knowledgeExperience with Google Analytics or Firebase CrashlyticsAt PakWheels, we take pride in fostering a dynamic and innovative workplace culture that values collaboration and growth.
