Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacovigilance Specialist located in Karachi. The Pharmacovigilance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring the safety of pharmaceutical products, identifying and assessing potential risks, and reporting adverse events. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining pharmacovigilance databases, preparing safety reports, conducting risk-benefit evaluations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Understanding of pharmacovigilance processes and regulatory requirements
- Strong skills in risk assessment and safety monitoring
- Experience in preparing safety reports and maintaining databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, or a related field
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
