Position Summary:

This role is responsible for leading a team of skilled individuals responsible for technical design, architecture, strategic planning & implementation. The role requires supporting organizational needs for new solutions & product innovation, ensuring solutions are made to be reusable, flexible as well as scalable.

The candidate must have technical hands-on experience, should have experience of leading cross-functional teams & must lead the way.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Solution design, and delivery within a respective squad
  • Managing the team ensuring the team's processes and tasks are carried out efficiently.
  • Closely coordinate with Products and PMO team for planning and delivery of new services and features.
  • Lead technical aspects of all Business projects.
  • Develop an understanding of our existing IT infrastructure while actively searching for improvement areas
  • Streamline workflows by implementing inventive technical solutions
  • Engage with stakeholders, updating them on IT development processes and costs
  • Drive organization-wide process optimization
  • Meet short- and long-term business goals
  • Evaluate existing and emerging technologies on a regular basis
  • Design and test technical architecture
  • Connect with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify problem areas
  • The incumbent shall be responsible to adhere by Telenor Microfinance Bank Behaviors (Be Respectful, Keep Promises, Always Explore and Create Together) in all aspects of his/her work conduct.
  • Responsible for managing compliance risk 'inherent' in their day-to-day activities, processes, and systems for which you are accountable. This includes the responsibility of business lines to own, develop, and update systems, policies, processes, and procedures to manage compliance risk inherent in their day-to-day activities."

Knowledge and Experience

Education:
Bachelor's Degree + Specialized Certification/Degree (optional)

Experience:
6 Years

Competencies

  • Understanding of SOLID principles
  • Understanding of Banking Ecosystem (Preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Proven experience in working with SOAP APIs.
  • Certification or demonstrated expertise in TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) or equivalent enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Practical experience in applying architecture frameworks (such as TOGAF) in real-world enterprise projects.
  • Strong background in designing solutions for financial services, including payment processing, digital wallets, and regulatory compliance.
  • Applied knowledge of design patterns such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and CQRS.
  • Experience in addressing challenges of scalability, security, and compliance while architecting fintech systems.
