About the Role:

We're looking for a
Senior Software Engineer (Data Engineer – PySpark Expert)
who can design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and solutions. You'll play a key role in transforming large-scale datasets into actionable insights while collaborating with cross-functional teams across data, analytics, and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    ETL pipelines
    using
    PySpark
    and other big data frameworks.
  • Work with
    AWS, Azure, and Databricks
    to build scalable and high-performance data systems.
  • Optimize data flows for speed, reliability, and scalability.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency and data quality.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to support data-driven decisions.
  • Implement
    data governance, quality checks, and documentation
    for all data processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance and data integrity issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

4–8 years of hands-on experience in
Data Engineering / Big Data
.

Strong command of
PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python
.

Proficiency with
cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
and
Databricks
.

Experience working with
data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL processes
.

Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines
, version control (Git), and automation tools.

Understanding of
SQL
,
NoSQL
, and modern data architectures.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of
    Delta Lake, Airflow, or Kafka
    .
  • Experience in
    performance tuning
    of Spark jobs.
  • Exposure to
    machine learning pipelines
    or data visualization tools.
