Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team on a full-time remote basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites with a focus on performance, responsiveness, and user experience. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to create high-quality websites that align with client goals and brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites (themes, plugins, and custom code)
  • Ensure websites are responsive, SEO-friendly, and optimized for performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and compatibility challenges
  • Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce)
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver seamless user experiences
  • Maintain clean, well-documented, and scalable code
  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (3+ years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with custom theme and plugin development
  • Familiarity with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
  • Experience with website performance optimization and security best practices
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and how they apply to website structure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Experience with Git, hosting platforms, and deployment workflows is a plus
