Job summary
We need a Programme Manager to coordinate delivery across multiple scrum teams. You'll collaborate with Product Managers on roadmaps, then translate these into detailed resource and initiative plans for review and approval. You'll own cross-team dependency planning and execution to prevent delays and blockers, manage stakeholder timeline transparency, and absorb operational coordination overhead - freeing Product Managers to focus on strategy, discovery, and customer interviews.

The ideal candidate brings strong organizational and stakeholder management skills with proven experience coordinating multiple agile teams. You'll work closely with Scrum Masters, scrum teams, and chapter leads on resource and project planning, progress monitoring, forecasting, and release commitments. You'll be the connective tissue ensuring smooth coordination across teams and clear visibility for stakeholders. You thrive in turning technical execution plans into a delivery of measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Programme Coordination & Delivery Planning
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to translate roadmaps into
  • detailed resource plans and initiative timelines
  • Establish and maintain project plans, dependency trackers, and risk registers across 5+ scrum teams
  • Coordinate delivery of product initiatives, automation initiatives, and operational transformations in line with unified company and product strategy
  • Facilitate release planning and cross-team synchronization, working with Scrum Masters and chapter leads
  • Monitor progress against commitments, manage scope adjustments, and provide early warning of delivery risks and timeline impacts


Cross-Team Dependency Management
  • Identify, track, and actively mitigate cross-team dependencies across product development, automation initiatives, and operational improvements
  • Coordinate to ensure teams have what they need when they need it - information, decisions, resources, or integrations
  • Escalate blocking issues appropriately and drive resolution


Stakeholder Communication & Transparency
  • Manage timeline transparency for Sales, Relationship Managers, SMEs, and executive stakeholders
  • Translate technical execution plans into business-friendly progress updates and forecasts
  • Handle stakeholder timeline requests and questions, shielding Product Managers from operational interruptions


Strategic Coordination & Continuous Improvement
  • Act as strategic coordinator across delivery streams, identifying patterns and opportunities to improve flow
  • Drive continuous evolution of planning processes, coordination practices, and stakeholder communication approaches
  • Proactively surface organizational friction points and propose pragmatic solutions

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 10 years' experience as a Programme Manager or Project Manager in a technology-driven environment.
  • Expert understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and delivery frameworks.
  • Certified Scrum Master and/or Agile Project Management certification (PMI-ACP, SAFe, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of automation and deployment frameworks
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable plans for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work with 6-8 hours overlap with UK business hours (GMT/BST)
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on delivery mindset.
  • Resilient under pressure, with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Fosters accountability, agility, and continuous improvement across teams.
