Role
Role
This is an onsite position. As an Associate Project Manager at Mindstorm you will play a key role in product development by taking ownership of the development process and focusing on time management, build processes, task shuffling, and follow-up, as well as progress tracking and delivery. By working closely with the development, design, and production team you will take all necessary means to ensure the final content of game builds gets completed on par, on time, and with the highest quality standards achievable. What will you be doing?

  • Oversee, manage, and be responsible for the development progress for our games
  • Develop and maintain the project schedule and other documentation relevant to the development process
  • Liaison with our publishing partners and offshore customer support team and quality assurance team to coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Clearly communicate the tasks and the deadlines with game team and other stakeholders, developing and maintaining clear metrics of performance
  • Be fully aware of game performance, metrics, market traction, and the customer heartbeat to ensure production processes and timelines are in sync with market realities
  • Collaborate with various partners within the organization to create, execute and maintain detailed launch plans including: internal/external project mile-stone, online issues and partner requirements
  • Provide a fresh eye on helping to QA the game from a production standpoint
  • Manage multiple game projects when necessary.

What are we looking for?

  • BS any major - BS-CS preferred
  • 2+ year Project management experience on mobile platforms
  • Experience writing project plans and specification documents
  • Strong understanding of PM methodology in an Agile working environment
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana/Smart-sheet would be a plus
  • Experience working with iOS and Android platforms would be a plus
  • Strong sense on time management, result oriented
  • Strong communication skills in English; verbal and written
  • Excellent analysis skills and attention to details
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Understands team dynamics, motivations, and interpersonal differences.
  • Builds trust and accountability across the Pods
  • Familiar with basic performance management processes (e.g., tracking goals, project milestones, and individual progress).
  • Skilled at handling minor interpersonal issues within or across project teams.
  • Uses empathy and neutral communication to de-escalate conflicts.
  • Ensures project communications reflect company values and maintain team morale.
  • Acts as a bridge between People Ops and project teams for announcements, updates, and culture initiatives.
  • Ensures new joiners integrate quickly into the project's workflow and culture.
  • Reads team morale, energy, and emotional cues effectively.
  • Practices active listening, shows empathy, and supports motivation during stressful project phases.
