Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Resident Engineer, based in Rawalpindi. The Resident Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction activities to ensure quality standards, project timelines, and safety regulations are met. Responsibilities include supervising site activities, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, monitoring project progress, addressing technical issues, and ensuring compliance with engineering designs and specifications. The role also involves regular reporting and collaboration with project management teams to ensure seamless execution of all project phases.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of construction engineering, site supervision, and project management
  • Proficiency in technical skills like site inspection, quality control, and design interpretation
  • Proven experience in coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to oversee compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Professional engineering certification or licensure (preferred)
  • Industry experience in smart city or large-scale infrastructure projects is an advantage
