Position Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist with hands-on experience in SAP R3 to support our client's wind division of renewable energy business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing purchase orders, supplier communications, and procurement data accuracy within the SAP system. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers during night shift hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, submit, and manage purchase orders in the SAP R3 system.
  • Follow up on open line items with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Update and communicate revised delivery dates in SAP and notify relevant account managers of any schedule changes.
  • Collaborate closely with account managers and other members of the Wind Division team to ensure procurement activities align with project timelines.
  • Solicit bids and quotations from suppliers for required materials and services.
  • Evaluate supplier responses and assist in the vendor selection process when required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchase order data in SAP R3.
  • Support reporting and analysis of procurement metrics as requested by management.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2–4 years of procurement experience, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing, or renewable energy environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP R3 (mandatory).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Comfortable working in a remote, night shift environment (7:00 PM – 4:00 AM).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with international suppliers and logistics.
  • Familiarity with Wind Energy or Renewable Energy industry operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
