Job Overview: VirtualRep Pvt. Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated WordPress and Shopify Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress and Shopify development, including theme and plugin development, customization, and maintenance. This role requires a passion for creating dynamic, user-friendly websites and the ability to work collaboratively with designers, content creators, and other developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Development: Design, develop, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and user-friendly design.
  • Theme and Plugin Development: Create custom WordPress and Shopify themes and plugins from scratch or customize existing ones to meet specific project requirements.
  • Site Management: Manage all technical aspects of the WordPress and Shopify CMS, including security updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, content creators, and project managers to implement website features and functionalities that align with project goals.
  • SEO and Performance Optimization: Optimize websites for speed, performance, and search engine visibility.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure websites function flawlessly across various browsers and devices.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing website support and maintenance, including updates, bug fixes, and improvements.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in WordPress and Shopify development.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
  • Experience with WordPress and Shopify theme and plugin development.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and responsive design principles.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Timing: 5pm to 2am

Monday to Friday

Location: Gulberg, Lahore

Certifications: Relevant certifications in web development or WordPress and Shopify are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40, Rs50,000.00 per month
