JOB SUMMARY:

Data Engineers are responsible for designing and creating the data warehouse and all related extraction, transformation, and load of data functions. He should be able to analyze and digest what a business wants to accomplish with its data and design the best possible ETL/BI process around those goals.

DESCRIPTION

: Data Warehouse /ET

  • LParticipates in developing the Data Models and Data Marts that comes from various source system
  • sUsing the data flow design, develops and maintains the ETL scripts that acquire data from various source systems to load information into the Staging Area, the Data Warehouse and Data Mart
  • sIdentifies and develops opportunities to utilize objects and code where appropriate to reduce development effort and enforce consistent business rule
  • sIdentifies opportunities for analysis and reporting solutions within the compan
  • yParticipates in evaluation and selection of Data Modeling, BI and DW tool

s.Business Intelligenc

  • eTranslates business requirements into technical Data Models and Data Mart
  • sUnderstands key business driver
  • sContributes to the overall development of the BI initiative within the compan
  • yProvides input and feedback to the vision of the overall BI Strateg
  • yCommunicates BI strategy and concepts to other business user

s.Reporting & Draftin

  • gClearly documents all development to company standard
  • sWorks in a small team environment and supports team members where neede
  • dAssists in establishing new standards and processes for BI data modelin
  • gClearly communicates task status, progress and problems to project lea

dRequirements

  • :Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science, BIT, BBIT, or a related field, master's degree will be preferred
  • .3-4 years of experience in data engineering or a related field with additional exposure to Big Data methodologie
  • sStrong knowledge of RDBMS and SQ
  • LFamiliarity with ETL tools like Talend, Informatica, SSIS, or IBM Infosphere Datastag
  • eCandidate with experience in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Cloudera, Talend for Big Data will be preferre
