Xray Technician

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Xray Technician located in Islamabad. The Xray Technician will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Daily tasks include preparing and positioning patients for Xray procedures, ensuring radiation safety standards are adhered to, and collaborating with radiologists to interpret the images. Additionally, the technician will maintain accurate patient records and ensure equipment is functioning properly.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Radiation Safety and Medicine practices
• Credentials from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Experience in Radiologic Technology and Radiology
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain precise records
• Experience in a clinical setting is a plus
• Relevant certification or degree in radiologic technology or a related field is required
