Introduction
The Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) is a not-for-profit healthcare institute that offers all medical services to their patients under one roof. You will be responsible to: 

  • assist consultants in outpatient and inpatient areas 
  • carry out initial evaluation, investigation and management of patients to ensure appropriate and timely disposition 
  • provide quality patient care as per the planned care display clinical judgement, document clinical progress and complete discharge summaries of patients 
  • supervise the work performance of medical officers on their rotations 
  • perform common procedures under the supervision of consultants.

You should have: 

  • an MBBS degree with a valid license from Pakistan Medical and Dental Council 
  • at least five years of relevant experience in case of MBBS qualified while those with MCPS training completed should have at least three years of experience in the same field 
  • ability to effectively work independently as well as with multidisciplinary teams 
  • excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills 
  • willingness to work in shift duties 
  • comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
