Polymer Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Polymer Engineer to develop, test, and improve polymer materials and products. The role involves research, formulation, process optimization, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality and cost-effective polymer-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, design, and develop new polymer materials and products.
• Analyze physical and chemical properties of polymers for product improvement.
• Develop formulations for plastics, rubbers, and composites.
• Optimize polymer processing methods (extrusion, molding, casting, etc.).
• Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams for product innovation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Document technical data, test reports, and material specifications.
• Provide technical support to production and resolve material-related issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven knowledge of polymer chemistry, materials science, and processing techniques.
• Hands-on experience with extrusion, injection molding, thermoforming, or related processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in laboratory testing and quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO, ASTM, or other material standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in polymer manufacturing, R&D, or product development
