Rider Incharge

Job Summary:

The Rider Incharge is responsible for supervising, managing, and supporting the delivery rider team to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate deliveries. This role involves monitoring rider performance, maintaining delivery standards, handling logistics coordination, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Supervision: Manage and oversee all delivery riders, including attendance, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Dispatch Management: Assign daily delivery routes and ensure all deliveries are completed on time.
• Performance Tracking: Track key metrics such as delivery time, customer satisfaction, and rider productivity.
• Training & Development: Train new riders on company protocols, safety standards, and customer service.
• Fleet & Equipment Management: Ensure all delivery vehicles (bikes, scooters, etc.) are properly maintained and in good condition.
• Issue Resolution: Handle customer complaints, rider incidents, and operational challenges promptly.
• Compliance: Ensure all riders follow safety guidelines, traffic regulations, and company policies.
• Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly reports on rider activities, delivery success rates, and any operational issues.
• Coordination: Work closely with dispatch, customer service, and warehouse teams for smooth delivery operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in delivery operations, fleet management, or logistics supervision.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and manage a large team.
• Basic computer literacy (Excel, Google Sheets, delivery management software).
• Good knowledge of local routes and delivery areas.
