About the Role

Sofill is looking for a Link Builder Intern who is eager to learn SEO and understands the basics of link building. This role is perfect for fresh graduates or students who want practical experience in search engine optimization, backlinks, and digital outreach.

You will work closely with our SEO team to help build high-quality backlinks that improve website authority, rankings, and traffic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify link-building opportunities (guest posting, directories, outreach, niche edits, etc.)
  • Assist in executing outreach campaigns to websites, bloggers, influencers, and publications
  • Write professional outreach emails and manage inbox responses
  • Maintain a database of prospects, contacts, and acquired backlinks
  • Analyze competitor backlink profiles using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz (training provided)
  • Coordinate with the content team on anchor text and article requirements
  • Track and report weekly progress to the SEO lead
  • Follow ethical/white-hat link-building methods as per Google guidelines
  • Stay updated on basic SEO and industry trends (training will be provided)

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of SEO and link building concepts
  • Familiarity with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, BuzzStream) — plus point, not mandatory
  • Strong written communication skills (English) for outreach
  • Good research skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, Media Sciences, Communications, or related field
