The Role

We're seeking a Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our global transportation and logistics operations. You'll oversee end-to-end logistics—including trucking, sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and last-mile delivery—while building a strong network of partners to ensure reliable, cost-effective distribution.

You'll work closely with the Director of Supply Chain and cross-functional teams, using your expertise in logistics strategy, vendor management, and compliance to drive efficiency and support Nysonian's continued global growth.

What You'll Do

Trucking & Overland Freight

  • Manage domestic and regional trucking operations
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with trucking companies
  • Onboard and manage vendors to ensure SLA compliance

Sea Freight Logistics

  • Oversee international container logistics and sea shipments
  • Source and negotiate with freight forwarders and shipping lines
  • Monitor movements to reduce demurrage and detention costs

Customs Clearance

  • Lead customs clearance across multiple regions
  • Liaise with brokers to ensure compliance and documentation accuracy
  • Resolve holds or disputes proactively to avoid delays

Warehouse-to-Customer Delivery

  • Coordinate last-mile logistics with delivery partners
  • Optimize routing, reliability, and inventory flow

Small Package Shipments

  • Partner with couriers for parcel and e-commerce deliveries
  • Negotiate rates and SLAs to support scaling volumes

Freight & Bulk Logistics

  • Manage B2B shipments (LTL, FTL, oversized loads)
  • Onboard and maintain strong freight provider relationships
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive logistics experience in a global, fast-paced environment
  • Strong network of logistics providers (freight, ocean, parcel, brokers)
  • Proven vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of international trade compliance and customs processes
  • Proficiency with ERP/logistics tracking systems (SAP, Oracle, TMS, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
