Role Summary

Red Rock Book Writers is hiring a junior Social Media Content Creator focused on production. You will produce, format, and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube/Shorts, and other relevant social platforms. Your day-to-day centers on Reels, posters/static graphics, and keeping an accurate content calendar. You'll work from provided briefs, scripts, and caption copy alongside editors, designers, and project managers.

Responsibilities

· Content calendar ownership: Maintain a reliable, up-to-date calendar; ensure on-time deliveries; schedule approved posts across platforms and log publish links.

· Reels & short-form production (primary): Prioritize author-facing content by translating each author's brief into on-brand short videos and visuals using AI video and image tools (e.g., Sora or similar AI video tools, Runway, CapCut AI; Midjourney/Ideogram/Firefly for images). Combine generated shots with approved assets, stock, and brand templates to bring the author's vision to life.

· Posters & static graphics (primary): Design clean, on-brand posters/static assets (feed, Stories, event promos, occasional print) using brand templates in Canva/Adobe/Figma; prepare required sizes and verify accuracy (layout, alignment, spelling on graphics).

· Publishing & scheduling: Export deliverables in required formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9 as needed), apply provided titles/descriptions/tags/thumbnails, and publish via Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, LinkedIn scheduling, and other native tools.

· Quality control: Deliver error-free publishing that meets platform specs and brand standards; ensure visuals are brand-consistent across channels and versions.

· Organization & collaboration: Keep project files and assets organized so anyone on the team can find them quickly; provide clear, proactive communication and smooth handoffs to the senior editor and PMs.

Qualifications

· Experience: 1–2 years in social content production for a brand, agency, publisher, or creator (portfolio required).

Skills:

·  Design for social (posters, flyers, thumbnails, carousels) using brand kits/templates.

·  Platform specs knowledge across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube/Shorts, and other platforms (e.g., TikTok, X/Twitter, Pinterest); correct aspect ratios and export settings.

·  Publishing & scheduling in native tools; disciplined file hygiene and version control.

·  AI-assisted production: prompt-driven video and image generation; smart clipping/auto-captions; combining AI assets with templates, stock, and approved footage.

Tools:

·  AI video: Sora (or similar), Runway Gen-3, Pika, CapCut AI.

·  AI image: Midjourney, Ideogram, Adobe Firefly, Stable Diffusion.

·  Editing/export & captions: Descript, CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve.

·  Design: Canva, Photoshop, Figma.

·  Scheduling/publishing: Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, LinkedIn scheduling, TikTok.

·  Communication: clear, timely status updates; smooth handoffs; flags risks early; collaborates cross-functionally.

·  Soft skills: attention to detail, time management, takes feedback well, collaborates smoothly.

·  Education: Ongoing degree (or recent graduate) in Film, Media, Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred; skill and portfolio matter most.
