About the Position

The ideal candidate will be managing software development projects, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, stakeholder management, and project management. You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end project lifecycles, driving team collaboration, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and manage software development projects from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure seamless collaboration and project success.
  • Implement and manage Agile/Scrum methodologies to facilitate iterative development and continuous improvement.
  • Track project progress using tools like Jira, Trello, or MS Project, and provide regular updates to stakeholders through reports and meetings.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to optimize efficiency.
  • Ensure quality assurance processes are followed to deliver high-quality deliverables.
  • Mentor team members, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Maintain clear documentation of project plans, progress, and outcomes for future reference.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 4-7 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in software development or IT projects.
  • Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and managing iterative development cycles.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, MS Project, or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and technical processes.
  • Experience in risk management, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes and ensuring deliverable standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, Scrum Master (CSM), or Agile certification is a plus.
  • Experience managing projects in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with software development technologies (e.g., , , PostgreSQL).
  • Knowledge of change management and process optimization techniques.
  • Experience working with international clients or distributed teams.

Education

A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
